4. Regulation of Pharmaceutical Sales & Prescription Policy
As a regulated entity operating under Nigerian healthcare laws, Luna Drugs Limited enforces strict compliance protocols:
- Prescription-Only Medicines (POM): We will not dispense any prescription-only medications without a valid, legible prescription issued by a fully registered medical practitioner in Nigeria.
- Verification: We reserve the right to verify the authenticity of any uploaded prescription with the issuing clinician or medical facility before dispensing. Orders for POMs will remain pending until verification is complete.
- Quantity Limits: In compliance with NAFDAC regulations and safe pharmaceutical practices, we reserve the right to limit the quantity of any medication ordered to prevent drug abuse or hoarding.
5. Ordering, Pricing, and Payments
- Product Availability: All orders are subject to stock availability. Luna Drugs Limited reserves the right to discontinue or modify specifications on products at any time without prior notice.
- Pricing Errors: While we endeavor to ensure all pricing on the Platform is accurate, errors may occur. If we discover a pricing error on an item you ordered, we will inform you immediately and give you the option to reconfirm the order at the correct price or cancel it.
- Currency and Payment: All prices are quoted in Nigerian Naira (₦). Payments must be made via our integrated, secured payment gateways. Orders will only be processed upon successful confirmation of payment clearance.
6. Delivery and Shipping Policy
- Fulfillment Geographic Scope: Delivery will be carried out within specified zones in Nigeria, subject to the logistics options provided at checkout.
- Cold-Chain Logistics: For medications requiring temperature-controlled environments (e.g., insulin, vaccines), Luna Drugs Limited utilizes specialized cold-chain logistics. It is your responsibility to ensure an authorized individual is present to receive these items immediately upon delivery to prevent degradation.
- Delivery Timeline: Stated delivery times are estimates and are not guaranteed. We are not liable for delivery delays caused by traffic gridlock, fuel shortages, civil unrest, regulatory bottlenecks, or other events beyond our reasonable control.
7. Returns, Refunds, and Cancellations
In strict compliance with NAFDAC quality control guidelines and the Federal Consumer Protection and Competition Act (FCCPA):
- Pharmaceutical Returns: For reasons of public health, product integrity, and safety, prescription medications and open over-the-counter (OTC) drugs cannot be returned or exchanged once they have left the custody of our delivery network, unless the product is verified to be damaged, defective, or incorrectly dispensed by our warehouse.
- Non-Pharmaceutical Returns: Unopened, sealed personal care products or medical devices may be returned within forty-eight (48) hours of receipt, provided they remain in their original, untampered packaging.
- Refund Processing: Approved refunds will be credited back to the original payment source or via bank transfer within 7 to 14 business days.
8. Intellectual Property Rights
All content on this Platform—including trademarks, logos, text, software, product images, graphics, and layout—is the exclusive intellectual property of Luna Drugs Limited or its licensors and is protected by the Nigerian Copyright Act and international intellectual property treaties. No part of this Platform may be reproduced, duplicated, or exploited for commercial purposes without our express written consent.
9. Prohibited Conduct
When using this Platform, you explicitly agree not to:

11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted under Nigerian law, Luna Drugs Limited, its directors, employees, or partners shall not be held liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from:
- Your use or inability to use the Platform.
- Minor variations in product manufacturing packaging, provided the therapeutic composition complies with NAFDAC standards.
- Any unauthorized access to or alteration of your transmissions or data.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Luna Drugs Limited, its subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, directors, and employees from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising out of your breach of these Terms, misuse of the Platform, or violation of any third-party healthcare rights or Nigerian regulations.
13. Severability and Amendments
- Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction in Nigeria, such provision shall be severed, and the remaining terms will continue in full force and effect.
- Amendments: Luna Drugs Limited reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updated terms will be posted on this page with a revised “Last Updated” date. Your continued use of the website after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
14. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
- Governing Law: These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by, interpreted, and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
- Amicable Settlement: In the event of any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms, the parties shall first attempt to resolve the matter amicably through direct negotiation within fourteen (14) days of notice.
- Arbitration: If an amicable resolution fails, the dispute shall be referred to and finally resolved by arbitration in accordance with the Arbitration and Mediation Act of Nigeria. The venue of the arbitration shall be Lagos or Abuja, Nigeria, and the proceedings shall be conducted in the English language.
